I miss him

I was only 17 when my dad died of lung cancer i was bullied because of it and told i smell and stuff and people say to me do you miss ur dad i say yeah and it still upsets me to c photos of my dad i need some help on how to deal with people keep saying at least my dad is better than your dad which really upset me

That is really sad! To be perfectly blunt, the people who say those things are HORRIBLE and you should just tell them to fuck off! They're really horrible people and I don't see how anybody can be that mean as to say things like that. You could also say to them "look, it's really not funny. It's sick to say things like that and you're just pathetic for saying it!" Or you could say that it IS actually a serious thing and that it isn't funny, it actually upsets you! I hope your situation gets resolved!

i now wt yr going throu cz my son lost his father wn he ws jst 1.he is 12 now.he gets very upset and wants 2 nw so mch about his dad.he misses him and he finds it hard.i say 2 him that even thou his gn out of our lifes,he lives in our hearts and minds.those u love are nt far away,they wl always remain in our hearts.it is very hard 2 cope bt be strong cz yr dad wld hv wnted u 2 be happy.boy cnt see his dads photos so we hv pt them away bt he looks at them smtimes.pepl wl hrt u,dnt let them get u dwn.gd luck

Just remember your dad isn't dead, he has been reborn and is a sparrow or something, he's watching over you and he wants you to be strong for him. That's what i tell myself about my grandad... he's a penguin in antarctica so i don't get to see him, but he thinks of me a lot.
