Can't let go
I'm 19 and almost a year a go my boyfriend left me. I never felt so strongly about someone til him and I always wondered if I could ever move on because I've heard 'you only really fall in love once'. A few months a go I met my boyfriend who I am with now. He is aware how much I like my last boyfriend but he doesn't know how I'm feeling inside and I'm glad he doesn't. This guy is so perfect for me. He's better suited to me than my last boyfriend which is why i don't understand why I can't let go. I don't like my boyfriend as much as I liked my last. I don't feel that connected to him even though we talk about almost everything and he treats me better than my last boyfriend did. Will it take more time to let go? Will I ever get completely over my ex? How can I feel as strongly about this boyfriend?
