Outcast.

i really don't understand this...
Im at high school and just because i don't fit into a stereo type im treated differently, just because my clothes aren't big brands i get treated differently, Just because i want to do well in school im treated differently.

High School is hard for most kids but when your like me its especially hard, there is probally millions of kids out there like me.
Im treated lower than others because i actually get on with my school work and do my homework i don't want to end up in a lousy job getting paid rubbish money.

I don't judge people for what they look like on the outside or before i know them but i get judged everyday for what i look like and this means i get looked through by everyone its like I'm invisible and no one notices me.

There's a guy, he is called Craig and he's in the year above me he has the same type of style of me wears surf makes and such but hes popular and because I'm not he doesn't notice me he looks over my shoulder not at my face.

Since i started high school and people change nearly everyone from my primary school has stopped noticing me and pretending they dont know me.

When i fisrt stared reading i was thinking to go and find some one with the same stylebut that has already happened so just go and get him mabe he will understand how you feel

I know how you feel. have been an outsider for most of my life.they don't tell pupils and students how to socialise, how not to bully others, how to accept and respect people with different lifestyles. you can be proud of yourself for having put down your thoughts in writing! that is the first step. one thing i can tell you from my own experience: i once started a new school and i felt the beginnings of becoming an outsider again. this time i did not want to experience it again. so i told the two girls i felt "close" with that i want friends and i don't want to be an outsider. i started crying. they were so understanding, so nice and we hung out ever since at school. i was never alone at that school. i did not care who they were, i did not try and "select" friends, i just took the ones that were there, and made the best of what the situation offered. but believe me, it wasn't easy! and i don't always manage to make friends. it is a learning process (am now 38 years old and still manage to become an outsider). good luck!
