why do I feel scared

you may laugh at this as alot of people do. Im 15 and I think im scared of babies and children. My little cousins are under 7 and everytime thye visit or i visit them I dont talk or look at them and i feel really uncomfortable around them. When one of them come near me i panic and sometimes have to leave the room. My uncle and aunty sometimes ask me to babysit but i never do. Id like to and when i think about children i think im okay with them but when im actually there with them i cant stand them. Im like that with all other babies and children aswell. But i dont want my uncle or aunty to think I dont personally like their kids. Why do i feel like this....help.

Don't panic!! Little ones are very scary because they are unpredictable. You never know what they might do next. You're not a bad person for feeling like this at all you are just not ready for the responsibility of taking care of someone else yet and trust me thats okay as long as you admit it. Too many young girls think babies and little kids are "cute" (and when they belong to you, you'll think that yours are too.) and end up having them far too soon then they realise that it's not all fun and games. Don't worry too much that you have a problem because you don't! By the same token don't fear kids either just try to relax around them, but in the meantime just politely decline any offers to babysit and enjoy your own time to be a young person!!!
